Doors Open Ontario is a heritage and cultural tourism program coordinated in partnership with the Ontario Heritage Trust and a network of province-wide community organizing partners.  Designed to create free access to and awareness and excitement about Ontario’s heritage sites hosting an event in the community allows residents and visitors to explore the hidden and always interesting places and spaces of our community.

From historical houses to modern marvels of construction, Doors Open Ontario showcases the buildings, natural spaces, infrastructure and cultural landscapes that shape and define our communities.  Explore various historical locations and learn about the people and places that help to build Whitby and Brooklin.
