Fisheries and Oceans Canada is working to improve the health of Whitby Harbour by dredging to remove sediment that picked up contaminants over time. This remediation project is creating a safer, healthier environment for harbour users and for fish and aquatic species. 

If you would like to learn more about this project, and if you have any questions, a Community Information Session will take place Thursday, March 27^th at the Port Whitby Marina, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.  The marina is located at 301 Watson Street West in Whitby.
