In November 2022, Chef Trevane “Tre” Sanderson made history as the first Black chef to be named Top Chef Canada. Competing against 10 of the country’s most talented chefs, Tre demonstrated his passion for elevating and modernizing Caribbean cuisine.
Fresh off his Top Chef triumph, Tre is returning to Durham College (DC) with some of his most celebrated dishes, to work alongside current culinary students and inspire the next generation of young chefs.
In recognition of Black History Month, you’re invited to meet Tre and enjoy an unforgettable six-course culinary experience at Bistro '67.
