Pick up a craft in a box to create your very own stamped tote bag. Participants will follow along live with the instructor on Zoom for step-by-step instructions to create your craft. Most items you need to create your craft project will be included.

June is Recreation and Parks Month!

Each June, communities across Ontario celebrate June is Recreation and Parks Month (JRPM).  JRPM is recognized by municipalities, community organizations, and schools as a way of promoting the benefits of being active and recognizing the contribution that recreation and parks make to quality of life.

This year, the Town of Whitby’s Recreation Division have a variety of activities for residents of all ages to participate in. Recreation and Parks themed activities are planned throughout the month that include; Recreation and Parks Month Swag Bags, Webinar with Paralympian Kevin Rempel, virtual programs for all ages and a Play in Whitby Challenge for residents to explore our parks and trails all month long and complete missions around their neighbourhood for the chance to win prizes.
